Privacy Policy
1. Information We Collect
We collect account details, user-provided content, and operational usage data needed to run Dictate. This may include account identifiers, case and client metadata, audio submissions, transcriptions and generated outputs, profile and billing data, and technical logs.
2. Storage Locations
Data is processed and hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure. Some workflow data is also stored in app-native browser storage on your device (for example, draft and recovery data used to protect work in progress).
3. How We Use Information
We use information to provide and secure the service, process dictation and document workflows, maintain case context, troubleshoot issues, measure performance and reliability, and communicate service-related updates.
4. Confidentiality and AI Data Handling
Client matter data is treated as confidential. We do not use your client content to train general-purpose public models. Data is processed by service providers only as needed to deliver, secure, and maintain the product.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share data only with processors and vendors needed for hosting, processing, security, analytics/monitoring, and legal compliance.
6. Data Retention
We retain data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, satisfy legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary by data type and account status.
7. Your Choices
You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal data where applicable. Certain records may be retained when required by law, security, or operational necessity.
8. Contact for Privacy Questions
For privacy requests, contact us through your existing support channel or account onboarding contact.
